Yogyakarta Bromo Ijen Tour Details
There are three ways to get from Yogyakarta to Bromo. First, you can fly from Adisucipto International Airport in Yogyakarta to Juanda International Airport in Surabaya. The flight time is just around an hour. From there, you will drive from Surabaya to Mount Bromo in a private car for 3 hours.
This is highly recommended if you don’t have much time in Indonesia. Second, you can take a train from Yogyakarta to Surabaya. The train journey is much cheaper than flying, but you will have to stay on the train for more than 4 hours and travel about 3 hours from Surabaya to Mount Bromo. If you want to get experience with Indonesian trains, this option is highly recommended. Third, you can get to Mount Bromo from Yogyakarta in a private car. This is not recommended at all as the journey will take about 10 hours and even more if there is traffic.
The last option is to take a bus from Yogyakarta to Surabaya. This is the same as the third option, you will have to sit on the bus for another 5 hours and find a bus to Probolinggo (about 4 hours drive). Once you arrive at the bus station in Probolinggo, you will have to find a minibus to the Mt. Bromo area. This is definitely not recommended as you will not only waste your time but you may also get ripped off at the bus station.

Day 1 YOGYAKARTA
Welcome to Yogyakarta! Our team would meet you at the airport then to Borobudur temple area for about 1,5 hours.
*Recommended starting time before 9 am
upon your arrival in Borobudur temple area and Exploring Borobudur compound, afterward we continue our journey to Bukit Rhema Gereja Ayam. And also taking andong for the village tour where you could try making local snack and how the local keep the tradition living in simple ways. And the we drive back to Yogyakarta and visiting the famous Malioboro Street and try the street food, buying batik souvenir etc.
